The exhibition gathers nine photos - beautifully printed on large-format panel - taken during the genesis of the documentary Tango, no todo es rock (Jacques Goldstein, Pedro Lombardi). These nine pictures give an insight, from one coast of the Rio de la Plata to the other, the roots and the essence of modern tango.
“Chicho”, Esteban Cortez or Evelyn Rivera, the endearing characters of the documentary were already mentionned in the book Invitation au tango (éditions du Collectionneur, Paris 2005). They became international references in dance, they are portrayed here, of course.
PLEASE NOTE : the opening of the exhibition will be preceded by the projection of No todo es rock by J. Goldstein and P. Lombardi at La Sainte Dynamo (4pm).
Pedro Lombardi leads a photography training workshop on Saturday, June 30th at the Espace Saint-Cyprien.
