TangoAnatomie, how to dissociate smoothly

STAGE

SALLE OSÈTE

45€ for the whole day

Wednesday, 01 July 2020 : 10h30-16h00

One day of workshop with Laure Fourest.

My proposition relates to a substantive amount of work on the body in tango, by using selected elements of anatomy. I open a space where we can discuss our discomforts, our pains, our body in dance, and explore solutions that both prevent pain / discomfort and develop the technical, musical and interpersonal qualities of our dance for two.

This year, the workshop will focus on how our body is organized around its SPIRAL (dissociation) in the movements of ochos and turns: followers are often more aware of a spiral than you, leaders, who tend to neglect it somewhat. It will be about how we put our feet on the ground and find our power there; the position of our pelvis and how to protect our lower back; of our back and how to inhabit it; our shoulder blades and their mobility; of the dynamic elasticity of our body.

This workshop will interest both those who have followed that of previous years, who will find an in-depth follow-up, as well as those who have never tackled this work.
