• 10.30 am to 12.30pm - Folklore and its rythms: listening, experimenting and expressing
Our teaching is based on the traditional rythms and music from South America. We will show you how to use your body as a medium for conscious expression. Playing rhythms on your body (hand and feet percussions), conscious listening and movements are one of the many techniques studied in order to assimilate and understand the rythmical patterns.
• 12.45pm to 2.45pm - Dance and Folklore: sensitizing to the specific language and movement of folklore
Developing our awareness to the language of our body in space and time through dancing. We offer the possibility to work on the body and its multiple ways of moving itself. These include awareness of support points, rhythm, posture, technique, corporeal dissociation, preparation and choreographies of dance styles: chacarera, gato, escondido etc...
• 3pm to 4pm - Discovering Malambo: introducting and integrating variations on zapateo forms
The work will focus on the various techniques of moving in space, using the energy and vibration of the bombo leguero.

| Language: the classes are given in French and can be translated into English and/or Spanish
