Cuarteto Tafi concert

Cuarteto Tafi V2

It all starts with the unlikely encounter between an Argentinean voice, a Greek bouzouki, a flamenco guitar and Afro-latin percussions.
Born in France at the crossroads of contrary winds, the Cuarteto Tafi found its vanishing point in Argentina, on this land of Pachamama rich in traditional and unrecognised styles (chacareras, zambas), that flourish in the shadow of the imposing tango scene of Buenos Aires.

After having crossed this musical territory, first as explorers, then virtuosos, our four musicians ended up planting their own seeds (semillas). Today, it emerges a freed music that belongs only to them. Their style can be caracterised by a fusion of multiple trajectories between here and there, the present and the long time ago.
The distant echo of the pampa always resonates in their songs, which speak of new lives, of furtive and nostalgic encounters with the past, of disconnected frontiers, of hope and commitment and, above all, of the expectancy of united territory.

Leo Harispe, a radiant singer, Ludovic Deny (bouzouki), Mathieu Guenez (guitar and oud) and Frédéric Theiler (percussions), bring their jazz, Afro and oriental influences to the Cuarteto Tafi compositions.

GREAT BALL (in the Hall)

Los Milonguitas

Los Milonguitas 2 V1

The tango trio "Los Milonguitas" have a clear aim : that all of the dancers fill the milonga dancefloor. Influenced by the great orchestras of the golden age, (Di Sarli, D’Arienzo, Caló), "Los Milonguitas" offer trio versions in style as well as their own compositions, always taking into consideration the performance necessities of the milongueros, the real protagonists of the dancefloor.
Since 2014, in Buenos Aires, "Los Milonguitas" have been constantly elaborating their repertoire, during milongas porteñas, defining their musical choices in line with the style of the most prestigious milongueros, making theirs the advice of dance professors and internationally recognised DJs.
New compositions complementing the repertoire are inspired by the universe of the current milongas porteñas, from the classic to the more informal or transgressive ones.
The musical trajectory of the founding members, the pianist Pablo Murgier and the bandoneonist Simone Tolomeo, allows them to offer interesting and innovative arrangements.

You will love this trio for their energy and the quality of their arrangements!
