Anibal Troilo, composer, musician, conductor, he has nurtured and renewed tango in the twentieth century. There is not a milonga without some Pichuco creations.
In a nod to his centenary, a photographic exhibition presents a snapshot of moments of encounter and dance. The exhibition is alongside the festival office in the municipal health centre.
These images are the work of music lovers and dancers participating in Tangopostale. Both as subjects and objects, they evoke the diversity found in the festival, capture key
moments, attitudes and expressions. Organized into broad themes of rhythm, the body, and connection and indicate the presence of tango in the heart of the city.
Some people will perhaps recognize themselves but all will be able to sense Toulouse, the life of the city, its streets animated by dance and the sound of the bandoneon.
They are in festival office, a meeting point where all are welcome.
