Amateur practice of both tango and folk music from Argentina has become a strong tradition in Toulouse in the last few years.
For the sixth consecutive year, the Tangopostale festival, this year in partnership with the Toulouse Conservatory of music (Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional or CRR for short), is again showcasing Argentine folk music and song, rich in harmonies, subtle melodies, complex rhythms and moving poetry inspired by nature and the people.
The course is open to all non-beginner musicians and singers, whether amateur or professional.
Instruments: piano, guitar, accordion, bandoneon, charango, violin, flute, clarinet, etc.
The scores, lyrics, arrangements and chord charts will be sent out one month before the course starts, after receipt of registration with deposit.
Accommodation is not managed by the workshop organisers, but Toulouse offers many possibilities. Clic here for more information about it.
