Opening Ceremony of the festival TANGOPOSTALE 2013
demonstration and initiation Chacarera (Place Daurade)
After the opening of the festival, by Sonia RUIZ, Deputy for Tourism, representing the Mayor of Toulouse, and Christian COUDERETTE, President of the Festival, there will be a demonstration of traditional Argentine Dances. The public are invited to try these in a session led by Gustavo GOMEZ, a professional dancer, teacher and artistic director of the troupe De Mi Tierra.
This is an ideal opportunity to learn and try out the pleasure of traditional dances and subsequently you can dance the same evening at the peña !
also offers courses in these dances on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 July which will finish, in the centre of town, with a cavalcade on Saturday afternoon.
