With the voice of one of the major contemporary Tango figure (argentinian pianist Juan Carlos CACERES, recently passed away), the film director Dom Pedro reveals us how deep are african roots in this music.
This film brings to light the contribution of african cultures to the creation of tango. This helps to ensure multi-dimensionality of this intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Before the movie, from 13h30 in the courtyard of the Cervantes Institute, uou will see some percussionist and may be dancers on african rhythms.
After the movie-show Dom Pedro will take time to exchange with the audience and answer your questions.
This event is realized with partnership of AFRO EVENTS (Festival AFRIK'A TOULOUSE).
