To close its 2023-24 season, the OUT Toulouse Orchestra is taking on the challenge of a 70-minute concert entirely devoted to Argentine Tango.
This is no mean feat for a symphony orchestra more accustomed to the classical repertoire, hence the idea of putting together an original, gourmet programme. On the menu, a selection of works composed by Astor Piazzolla, seasoned with a few choice tangos revisited for symphony orchestra. Finally, the Toulouse OUT has commissioned one of the most renowned names in young tango in Europe, pianist, arranger and composer Chloë Pfeiffer, to write some customised works (based on works by Mozart and Bizet, among others).
Please note that as this event is not organised by us, the concert is not included in the festival's PASS CULTURE. Remember to reserve your tickets individually!
