3 workshops with Marina Carranza on the transmission of Argentine tango.
Workshop 1 • 10.30am-12pm: The connection
A toolbox for dialogue within the couple and with music. Closed and open abrazo. Places of contact in the abrazo... paths of research. The crossover.
Workshop 2 • 12h30-14h: Musical improvisation in phrases:
Continuity and pauses, adornos, constructing the way to interpret a tango.
Workshop 3 • 2.30-4pm: Improvisation
How can improvisation be taught as a whole? Leaving room for the couple's creativity. Alternation, non-guidance, empty spaces and other improvisation tools in Argentine tango.
• The workshops are designed for people who already teach or who want to pass on their knowledge, minimum intermediate level.
• Equipment: comfortable clothes, practical shoes, paper to take notes.
• Classes will be given in French and may be translated into English and Spanish.
