Tanganatomy
Workshop offered by the association Autonomie par les Arts du corps.
With the "tanganatomy" workshop, Laure Fourest adresses any curious dancer who wishes to know further how the body gets organized to dance: it is an invitation to revisit his tango with accurate and efficient, anatomical and imaged tools, for further comfort and fluidity.
The module named "Anatomy of the spiral" is developped within an initial sequence of ochos and turns, progressively complexified throughout 3 workshops.
Trained in classical dance, Laure Fourest also made a detour by theatre and a thesis in social sciences and finally chose dance as his main activity. In addition to her intensive practice of tango, she enhanced her body relationship practising several free and improvised dances. As she has developped a pedagogy of dance inspired in her different practices, Laure Fourest trains in anatomy for the movement and collaborates with physiotherapists.
