Un évènement dans le cadre du festival Cinélatino et en partenariat avec le Centre culturel Alban-Minville et les associations So Tango ! et Tangueando.
Présentation de la séance par Hayrabet Alacahan, de la fondation Cineteca Vida de Buenos Aires.
L’Argentine a connu un cinéma muet très actif. Seuls 10% des films ont pu être récupérés et restaurés. Pour la première fois en France, cinq courts-métrages d’actualité et de fiction, tournés entre 1913 et 1931, seront mis en musique spécialement par Hubert Plessis au bandonéon et Louise Grévin au violoncelle, comme cela se faisait pour accompagner les films muets à leur sortie.
