Tangonella
An a cappella concert. An orchestra without instruments. The zooms, clacs, fiout and zim of the Tangonella’s voices compose a milonga to listen and a concert to dance. Either taken from the Argentine repertoire, inspired from contemporary electro-tango or in off-the-wall rock covers, Tangonella songs will just make you want to move your feet!
Born in Toulouse, homeland of Carlos Gardel, this eclectic formation mixes adroitly the requirements of choir work with the natural pleasure of musical jam sessions. The bass, the baritone, the tenor, the alto and the soprano of the group imitate the bandoneon, double bass, violin and even piano, and play with their voices. This orchestra without instruments makes the imagination dance on the most beautiful of the instruments: the voice.
Guillaume Barraband, Luc Fagoaga, Mélanie Fossier, Coco Guimbaud and Reynier Silegas, voice
