As a cultural meeting place, the Café Tango gathers both professionals and amateurs around tango and South-American culture at the tea room of the Librairie Ombres Blanches (foreign languages section).

On the programme : readings, tales, music, exhibitions, projections, round tables, tastings...

  • “Dancing tango, a subtle path to (re)discover your body”: a presentation of “tangotherapy” by Laure Fourest.

  • “When words are missing”: meeting with the tango-therapist Francesca Fedrizzi.
  • Musical Pause: Bryan Chambouleyron, a singer and guitarist from Argentina.

  • Presentation of the exhibition by Gérard de Foresta by the artist.
  • “The tango musicians in literature”: reading aloud session with Solange Bazely.

  • Meeting with Franco Luciani, a harmonica virtuose from Argentina.
  • Meeting with Christophe Apprill, a dancer and sociologist.

  • “Tango and politics”: lecture by Jean-Luc Thomas.
  • Projection of the short animated movie Le Mariage by Juan Carmadella.

07/07 

  • “Tango and football”: lecture by Jean-Luc Thomas.
  • Musical Pause: amateur singers.
