Nous sommes ravis d’accueillir une nouvelle fois un atelier d’orchestre de tango de 2 jours, proposé par la pianiste Chloë Pfeiffer, la violoniste Chloé Bousquet et le bandonéoniste Maxime Point.
This stage orchestral course, consisting of 10 hours of lessons, is aimed at amateur and professional musicians wishing to discover and deepen their knowledge of the style, gestures and elements of the language of Argentine tango.
The class will be led by Chloe, Chloë and Maxim based on arrangements adapted to all participants. The scores will be sent to them upon registration.
The CRR of Toulouse has been a partner of Tangopostale since 2014. A rare opportunity in a place dedicated to music for the transmission of instrumental tango. Book as soon as possible!
• Prerequisites: Good score reading skills are expected.
• Accepted instruments: Violin, viola, cello, double bass, bandoneon and accordion, piano (3 places maximum), clarinet and bass clarinet.

Chloë Pfeiffer
Pianist, arranger and musical and artistic director, Chloë Pfeiffer can boast of a wide range of skills. A laureate of the CNSM in Paris, specializing in tango, she immersed herself in this universe as a teenager during the Tarbes en Tango Festival. She studied with Alfredo Marcucci and Roger Helou, two great masters of Argentinian tango who passed on to her a taste for the repertoire and a knowledge of the different styles. She followed in their footsteps as director of the Tango Orchestra Workshop at the Tarbes Festival.
In 2010, she founded theSilbando Orchestra, for which she provides the arrangements and the musical and artistic direction. With the release of three albums and numerous concerts, Silbando has achieved recognition as one of the best orchestras performing on today’s tango scene.
A brand new creative project fully unites tango and classical music through original compositions and arrangements under the name of Chloe Pfeiffer and the Dixit Ensemble. The quintet's first CD, "Inopiné", was released in December 2025, with a series of promotional concerts to follow.

Chloe Bousquet
Recognized for the fluidity of her rich and warm violin playing, in orchestra as well as in small ensembles, Chloé Bousquet is today a respected and sought-after musician because of her ability to navigate with ease and elegance in the world of tango and Argentine folklore and even beyond.
Chloé Bousquet has played the violin since she was a child and grew up in a Franco-Spanish family of music lovers. She studied music at the Conservatories of Toulouse and Montauban, as well as at the Faculty of Musicology at the University of Toulouse Jean-Jaurès. She quickly developed a strong affinity for Latin American music and discovered a passion for Argentine tango during her studies. For her master's degree, she conducted research on the music of violinist Julio de Caro. The voice of her violin is shaped by various musical encounters and explorations.
She has traveled the world of tango, training with Juan-José Mosalini, Ramiro Gallo, Fernando Maguna, and Roger Helou. She is a co-founder of the traditional tango groups Trio CafetÃn and La Serenata Milonguera, as well as the Argentine folk group Trio Tikismikis, and she has shared the stage with numerous artists from the world of traditional Argentine music, such as singer Brian Chambouleyron, pianist Mirta Pérez, and bandoneon player Marcelo Mercadante. She has worked with several Argentine tango orchestras, including Gran TÃpica ParÃs, Septet Los Milonguitas, and Orchestre Silbando. Since 2024, she has participated in the show "Âmes SÅ“urs," a tribute to the Toulouse singer Claude Nougaro.
Maxime Point
Maxime Point is equally at home in an orchestra or a small ensemble. He is constantly exploring his art, tango, and various forms of improvisation. He cherishes the connection to tango dance, to the dancers, and to the performances that inspire the musician to become an actor, to develop a sense of stage presence, theatricality, or a sense of "happening." He enjoys venturing off the beaten path while maintaining a traditional touch. His thirst for encounters with other musicians and artistic worlds, and his sensitivity to the world at large, make his playing both moving and radiant.
Born in 1983 in Le Puy-en-Velay, Maxime began playing the accordion at age 7, before discovering tango and the bandoneon at 18. He pursued his musical training at the Saint-Étienne Conservatory, studying musicology, listening comprehension, composition, and analysis, and presented a thesis on Igor Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring." He participated in masterclasses with renowned artists (Daniel Brel, William Sabatier, Marcel Loeffler, Yuri Shishkin, etc.) and also performed in Kurt Weill's opera "The Threepenny Pooh" at the Grand Théâtre de Tours.
Maxime played as an accordionist in the Doïna Quintet for 4 years, which focused on improvised music, jazz, klezmer and tango.
Bandoneonist for the Roulotte Tango collective from 2006 to 2019, he now works with several tango ensembles (Silbando, Silencio, la Gran TÃpica Paris, Cuarteto Entre Dos, Los Milonguitas, TrÃo CafetÃn, TrÃo SuperPotente, Sonico and Duo La Vuelta - projects intended for milongas and concerts).
Maxime has performed as a soloist with the Saint-Étienne Opera Symphony Orchestra (Suite Punta Del Este - Astor Piazzolla) and gives occasional solo bandoneon recitals. Most recently, he performed with the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of the renowned Leonardo Garcia Alarcon in a program dedicated to the Chorales of Johann Sebastian Bach.
