* Workshop 1 • 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Solo and couple technique working on posture and embrace
Solo and couple technical exercises applied to the different tango figures.

* Workshop 2 • 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.: How to build a harmonious dance
Know how to build logic into your dance. Work with some interesting figures.
When and how:

* Workshop 3 • 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Milonga
Tools for dancing a fast milonga. Knowing how to control speed in the milonga.

✓ Level: These workshops are aimed at intermediate/advanced level dancers.

Marcela Barrios and Bassem Fakhfakh are two passionate tango teachers who have formed a dynamic duo since 2018. Their collaboration aims to convey the deep essence of this dance by harmonizing the different technical and emotional aspects of tango.

Marcela and Bassem have a balanced teaching approach, focusing on elements such as theabrazo, connection with the partner, musicality, personal interpretation, technique, as well as the characteristic figures and embellishments of tango. Their goal is to build a true connection with their students, while developing their musical sensitivity and their ability to interpret this dance in a personal way.

As artists, Marcela and Bassem regularly perform at local and international festivals and events, where they captivate audiences with their infectious energy and boundless creativity. Their tango style is both traditional and innovative, reflecting their constant evolution as dancers and teachers. This exceptional duo embodies passion and commitment to the art of tango, offering their students and audiences an immersive and inspiring experience.
