Due to logistical reasons beyond our control, the events planned for the first weekend of the festival (July 3-5) outdoors in Place Arnaud Bernard will not be able to take place as we had imagined and announced them.
But we have more than one trick up our sleeve! So… we've put together a delicious new program for this first traditional weekend:
• Friday, July 3: Opening night with the trio Trosman-Maguna-Dorf & DJ R@ffo / at salle Osète
• Saturday, July 4: Tango en el barrio with DJ Jean-Michel Siguier / maintained in Place Arnaud Bernard / FREE
• Sunday, July 5: Milonga de Tangueando with DJ Lua / at salle Osète
Our partner Tangueando invites you to salle Osète, right in the heart of Toulouse, to bring to a close this first weekend of traditional tango. A beautiful dance floor and a small bar at the entrance await you!
DJ Lua
Lua is Italian and lives in Lisbon. She discovered tango in 2004 while strolling along the banks of the Seine, and she's been hooked ever since. Since 2011, she has been part of the Lisbon tango community as an organizer and music director. Today, she shares her musical selections throughout Europe and the United States. For her, every milonga is unique. Every tanda tells a story. Every tango evokes memories of past dances. Her musical selections reflect the tastes of all the dancers she has met on her tango journey.
