Workshop 1 • 2:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.: The fundamentals: The embrace, between intimacy, density and projection

Objective: in search of a connected, dense and elegant embrace and walk on different proposals of interpretations and quality of the walk.

Expected benefits at the end of the course for the trainee: to be in tune with his/her partner from the first moments of the embrace and thus to evolve in a dance where the bodies and the walk create the strong identity of the couple from the first steps.

All levels.

Workshop 2 • 4 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.: Rhythmic Creation and Improvisation Workshop – Part I

Objective: to strengthen collaboration in dance, the permeability of roles through rhythmic proposals where the two protagonists are the driving forces in improvisation (leader and follower)

Expected benefits at the end of the course for the trainee: develop the ability of the dancers to feel and respond to the movements of their partner, which is crucial for a duet dance in order to find the balance of roles and thus exploit the rhythmic and interpretative potential of the couple.

Intermediate/advanced level.

Workshop 3 • 5:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.: Rhythmic Creation and Improvisation Workshop – Part II

Objective: to develop and organize the creativity of each couple through instructions and games that allow students to step out of their comfort zone and explore beyond their habits the language of a new improvisation in tango.

Expected benefits at the end of the course for the trainee: development of a greater ability to create improvised movements and explore new ideas in dance in order to better express their personality, refine their technical skills in enhanced collaborative work to rediscover the pleasure of dancing and improvising

Advanced level.

Workshop 4 • 1 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.: WOMEN’S TECHNIQUE: Between elegance and femininity for a daring tanguera

Objectif : recherche d’expansion du mouvement, confiance et de connexion intime avec sa propre féminité à travers la technique, les fioritures et l’intention de chaque mouvement.

Expected benefits at the end of the course for the trainee: strengthening of the dancer's focus and autonomy, allowing them to approach their own dance with presence, elegance and personality.

All levels.

Workshop 5 • 2:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.: Between qualities and expressions of movement in simple and complex structures – part I

Objective: mastery of basic and more complex movements with ease and fluidity.

Expected benefits for the student at the end of the course: ease in performing simple movements. Students will be able to perform basic and more complex movements with remarkable ease, allowing them to dance with confidence and subsequently delve deeper into the more interpretive part in Part II.

Intermediate/advanced level.

Workshop 6 • 4 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.: Between quality and expression of movement: laboratory of composition and interpretation beyond structures – part II

Objective: to be in harmony with the music and the instruments by mastering different qualities of movements and intention.

Expected benefits for the student at the end of the course: Students will develop a better listening and understanding of tango music. They will gain a variety of movement expression and the ability to interpret movements in different ways (dynamic, fluid, staccato, etc.) and expressively (poetic, emotional, narrative, etc.), thus enriching their dance.

Advanced level.

Workshop 7 • 2:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.: Waltz: all about the musical phrases of the Argentine waltz

Objective: to know how to hear and recognize the musical phrases of the Argentine waltz for musical and organized improvisation.

Expected benefits at the end of the course for the trainee: distinguishing the different times of the waltz as well as the closing of phrases by choosing an appropriate, musical and joyful vocabulary for successful improvisation.

Intermediate/advanced level.

Workshop 8 • 4 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.: Milonga: Games and complicity through different figures for the milonga

Objective: to have fun in rhythm through a selection of structures and small steps for two for the milonga.

Expected benefits at the end of the course for the trainee: create a beautiful bond and approach a couple vocabulary in order to dance the milonga to different rhythms and combinations of steps in order to create a mischievous and joyful dynamic.
