Every year, our Café Tango hosts meetings, presented by Solange Bazely and Serge Davy, around varied but always exciting and original themes. This year, we are delighted to return to the Ombres Blanches Bookstore, at the Espace de rencontre (3, rue Mirepoix), and to welcome specialists for four unmissable events!

On the agenda:

• “The creative part of vulnerable people” by Coralie Corredor of Arts sensibles with Cyril Adida

Coralie Corredor, a choreographic artist for over thirty years, trained at the Toulouse Conservatory and dancer for Philippe Découflé, Karine Saporta and the Cie Roc In Lichen, founded in 2006, in Normandy, Les Arts Sensibles.

This professional dance company aims to create shows, performances and films in which professional and amateur artists with disabilities come together.

Since 2018, the company has been based in Occitanie, in Béziers, where Coralie continues to meet people weakened by disability, trauma, illness, old age, etc. She uses contemporary dance, climbing dance and Argentinian tango to transmit her passion and make visible the often hidden creative side of vulnerable people.

In 2009, Cyril Adida works at Reflet, a Parisian restaurant that employs people with Down syndrome; he is also an actor. Coralie notices this young man and offers him a job in the company Les Arts Sensibles and to become his tango partner in his choreographic pieces, such as Gracias, le bal played from 2016 to 2024.

Short films will follow such as Clair de lune (1st prize for short films at the Festival Del Cinema Nuovo in Bergamo), or Je suis, an artistic residency process that allows everyone to discover themselves beyond disability and trauma.

Today Cyril Adida no longer says I am a man with Down syndrome but I AM… a happy man!
