Workshop 1 • 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Classic entries into the turns and oppositions
We will cover the various classic ways to initiate a turn and explore how to use oppositions and ground pushing to build stability and generate smoother movements and a strong, balanced connection.
Workshop 2 • 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Combinations of boleos and ganchos
How to smoothly introduce boleos and ganchos into the dance by addressing the key points: opposition, elasticity, connection and intention, fluidity.
Work on axis control (supporting leg and free leg), simple and complex sequences.
Workshop 3 • 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Los giros en la milonga
Tame the rhythm, the accelerations and slowdowns, expand your vocabulary in milonga.
Strengthen connection and listening, rhythmic and coordination exercises.
✓ Level: These workshops are aimed at an audience of intermediate or advanced dancers.
✓ Material: All types of dance shoes accepted.
✓ Registration : We are asking for parity. However, solo registrations are possible if parity is achieved subsequently.
