Every year, our Café Tango hosts tango talks, presented by Solange Bazely and Serge Davy, around varied but always exciting and original themes. This year, we are delighted to return to the Ombres Blanches Bookstore, at the Espace de rencontre (3, rue Mirepoix), and to welcome specialists for four unmissable events!
On the agenda:
• Presentation of the Dictionary of tango and lunfardo (Cap de l'étang Editions) by Pedro Ochoa & Cécile Boucris
Through this dictionary, Pedro Ochoa & Cecile Boucris, both authors and dancers of Franco-Argentine tango, open the door to understanding the lyrics of tango. They provide the French-speaking public the necessary historical, cultural and literary references and also draw on the emotional power of tango.

+ Cécile and Pedro will give 3 tango courses during the festival, “Dancing to the lyrics of tangos”, Saturday, June 29.

Café Tango opens its doors from 2 p.m. on conference days.
Each talk is followed by a discussion with the speaker of the day. All the speakers’ works and productions will be on sale on site, as well as other works related to tango culture, and the authors present will be happy to sign your copy for you!
