With Color Tango, we invite you to spend an hour or two in the arms of a seven-piece orchestra, each of which sounds like a single instrument alongside singer Roberto Decarre. Together, they perform a melodic and percussive tango, alternating tension and relaxation.
Color Tango has been performing tango all over the world since its founding in 1989 by the late Roberto Alvarez, former first bandoneon player of the Osvaldo Pugliese Orchestra. Color Tango maintains a strong relationship with dance, as evidenced by a few tracks from the series of records dedicated to dancers under the name Con Estilo Para Bailar. The list begins with La Mariposa, Nochero Soy, and A Evaristo Carriego, tangos that every dancer recognizes from the first notes. But Color Tango's strength is not limited to tango: the orchestra also offers a large number of waltzes and milongas capable of lifting even the most tired dancer and the dancer already barefoot from exhaustion, to take one last lap together in this despedida party!
In December 2023, Color Tango released its first CD following the death of its founder, Roberto Alvarez. One might have feared a drop in energy and a loss of inspiration, but this is not the case. Bandoneonist Ramiro Boero has stepped in to replace Roberto Alvarez, and with a skillful balance of instrumentals and sung tangos, the album Sentido Único promises more great things from this unique orchestra.

Under the direction of the bandoneonist Hubert Plessis, the Tangueando school orchestra was born in September 2022 from the shared desire to revive this beautiful musical tradition in Toulouse. It quickly brought together a small group of passionate amateur musicians, who invite us to dance to live music and thus rediscover the sensations of Argentinian popular balls!

Santiago Giachello and Eva Laura Madar form an exceptional duo in the world of tango, blending poetry, charisma and the deep intimacy of the embrace.
Their collaboration reflects a unique pedagogy that unites two generations, enriched by varied personal experiences internationally and in other artistic disciplines. This blend of influences allows them to explore a subtle and versatile tango, oscillating between the improvisational elegance of tango salon and the spectacular expressiveness of choreographic stage tango.
Together, Santiago and Eva have shared numerous performances in France and across Europe, demonstrating a rare bond and a shared passion for this captivating dance. Their commitment to the transmission of tango and their perpetual artistic quest place them among the captivating figures of the contemporary tango scene.
An enchanting duo, both on stage and in teaching, who gracefully celebrate the richness and emotion of this magnificent dance.

“Born in Quilmes, Argentina, I was rocked by tango from a very young age. Passionate about this dance but also about its music in all its complexity, I have studied its history and subtleties since 2017 in order to share them through my musicalizations. Hence my love for vinyls that I collect and that I have used for my sets since 2020: they envelop you with their rich and authentic sound. I adapt to the dancers and I accompany their energy until the end of each of my sets. I am a lover of the golden age that I mix to the point of sometimes setting the dance floor on fire!”

Creator of two milongas in Bordeaux with the desire to showcase the charm and atmosphere of the milongas of Buenos Aires and their beautiful musical programs, Andrés began to create music there.
It's like discovering a new passion, the pleasure of making passionate people dance, and at the same time getting to know both good traditional orchestras and modern ones. It's also the desire to share one's culture and musical universe with the Argentine tango public.
Andrés is now invited to festivals and milongas in France and abroad to liven up the dances with his personal style and always his touch of good humor and conviviality, essential for a successful milonga.
It will be a great pleasure for him to introduce you to his world and to share these beautiful moments with you.
Atypical, his artistic creations do not necessarily respect the usual order of the tandas.

➜ In the 2nd room, from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Anna is our iconic Néopostale/Tangopostale DJ. For those who don't know her, she's one of the few DJs who actually mixes. Mixing means taking tracks, joining them together, modifying them, and adding or removing instruments or vocals. And she does all this live. It's no wonder she's been giving DJ lessons during the festival for a few years now!
Anna knows how to create a great atmosphere; it's impossible to get bored during her set!
