Workshop: Milonga and rhythmic variations

This workshop is intended for the dancers having one year or more practice is centered on the milonga and the rhythmic variations around this specific shape.
It suggests on one hand approaching the question of the musical and rhythmic structure of the milonga, thus the variables of interpretation which offer themselves to the dancers. It is in particular looked for there to facilitate its handling by those, too numerous, who think of it difficult or conceive it as an exhausting sports exercise and to help other, more comfortable, to give to it of the relief.
Naturally, various questions relative to the adjustment of the abrazo, the connection, the posture and some proposals of step to feed this approach will be approached. Corrections and working suggestions will be personalized. In this purpose, the number of places is limited to favor a good educational transmission. The milonga being a dance of couple, the registration by couples must be favored, an absolute priority being given to the registrations in couple. The solo registrations solo are possible but subordinated to the existence of a parity of the roles.

The workshop can be given alternatively in Spanish and English for those who don’t understand french.
