Sandra Rumolino, la voix du tango au féminin

Sandra Rumolino, the female voice of tango

For many years, Sandra Rumolino has been a key figure in vocal tango in Europe. Gifted with a profoundly expressive and unique voice, she excels in a variety of performance environments. Whether she is portraying the title role in Astor Piazzolla and Horacio Ferrer's "María de Buenos Aires," performing on prestigious stages around the world, or sharing more intimate musical moments, Sandra Rumolino reveals a rare ability to deliver just what is required.

Her artistic career is marked by a collaboration of more than 25 years with the legendary bandoneonist Juan José Mosalini, notably within his Grand Orchestre de Tango, or by the show Alma de tango, thus confirming her status as a reference in the world of tango.

Passing on tango: a passion for serving others

In addition to her distinguished stage career, Sandra Rumolino is an accomplished teacher. For several years, she has shared her expertise through workshops and masterclasses, helping her students discover their own voice and the essence of tango.

Her method is based on a subtle balance between technical work and interpretation. She guides her students in their quest of an authentic connection with tango, revealing their unique expressiveness whether it is a tango, a waltz, a zamba or another rhythm from the folk repertoire.

Vidal Rojas, guitare et tradition argentine

A renowned guitarist, Vidal Rojas is a musician whose style is deeply rooted in the musical traditions of tango and folklore. For many years, he has accompanied singers and instrumentalists both on stage and in teaching contexts. His playing, which is precise, sensitive, and rhythmic, provides the perfect support for vocal and interpretive work.

In this masterclass, his attentive guidance will allow participants to explore the relationship between voice, lyrics and guitar, to refine their sense of rhythm and to deepen their stylistic understanding of the different genres covered.
