INTENSIVE MUSE TANGO PROGRAM: beyond feminine technique
A complete immersion dedicated to the female role in Argentine tango. Eva Laura Madar offers two complementary, evolving and inseparable modules for those who wish to deepen their presence, grounding and expressive power.
✦ Workshop 1: 11am – 1pm • Presence, axis, grounding
This first session lays the essential foundations for the tango dancer's physical and sensory work. An inner journey towards center awareness, dynamic balance, and the art of femininity within the tango language. Through precise and sensitive exercises that revisit the fundamentals, we will explore:
-the axis and the relationship to the ground as a source of stability and power
-anchoring in movement, sensuality in walking
-the role of the pelvis, through its pivots and spirals, as a source of energy and pleasure
-stage presence and the quality of body awareness, pillars of musicality and connection with the partner.
This work prepares the second part: without this foundation, it is difficult to fully express femininity, freedom, and personality in dance.
All levels – highly recommended for all participants.
✦ Workshop 2: 2pm – 4pm • Femininity, expansion and personality in dance
This second module explores the expressive and interpretive dimension of the female rider's role. Using Pugliese's language – sensual, dramatic, and powerful – we will delve into an approach that blends choreography and improvisation, where each movement becomes a personal voice.
Content and objectives:
– To develop the quality of expansion, the projection of movement, and the freedom of the body as a whole
– Exploring the feminine musicality specific to Pugliese: tension, release, contrast
– To work on technical sequences (turns, boleos, adornos, suspensions) through an emotional interpretation
– Cultivating personal signature in dance – how to express one’s identity without breaking the connection.
An invitation to dance beyond form, from its essence, to become “Muse”: an inspiring, conscious and unique presence.
Level: Intermediate / Advanced
•• The two blocks form a complete, progressive course. There will be breaks to catch your breath! Participation in the first part is highly recommended to fully enjoy the second, both technically and sensorially.
• Required materials: socks AND heels (and/or training shoes without heels).
