A week of open-air tango on Place Saint-Pierre, just the way we like it! With its large parquet floor set in the shade of the plane trees, the Eterna milonga is the heart of the festival. It's our favorite gathering place, from mid-afternoon until late evening under the stars, with unforgettable views of the sunset over the Garonne and the Dôme de La Grave!
We're expanding the floor a little more this year for more comfort, now with 430m2 of floor space, and of course a top-notch DJ lineup!
+ ON TODAY’S PROGRAM: an immersive concert with the DUO PLESSIS-GOMEZ
A little live music to spice up the evening! Around 6:30 p.m., Hubert Plessis & Sylvie Gomez will take over the center of the floor, right in the heart of the milonga, to tickle our ears and legs for a little over an hour...

PLESSIS-GOMEZ DUO
Sylvie Gomez and Hubert Plessis have known each other for over a decade and have shared many tanguera stages. From milongas to tango shows in the Halle Marcadieu at the Tarbes Festival with El Tango Club, El Tango y Tú, and soon Apolotango. Sylvie has accompanied Alfredo Marcucci and Fernando Maguna, among others. Hubert, meanwhile, has created various groups and performed on the latest European tours of the Orquesta Sans Soucis de Buenos Aires and some European dates with Hyperion.
Their duo repertoire is 100% bailable so put on your shoes and come share this hour of music and dance with them!

DJ Bob Rikkardo
“A tango dancer since 2010 and a TDJ since 2013, I have provided music for numerous milongas and several festivals in France and abroad.
In my opinion, "Rhythm, Energy and Sensitivity" are inseparable in the practice of tango. This perception undoubtedly feeds on traditional tango and more particularly on the period of the Golden Age but also on today's tango brilliantly represented by a number of contemporary orchestras. It seems to me that in recent years, these orchestras have been addressing new generations of dancers by offering tango music enhanced by current technologies, not only by brilliantly covering traditional pieces but also by interpreting their own compositions. Their musical qualities and their sophisticated interpretations of very famous pieces give a particular relief to the milonga.
In this spirit, I strive to offer, in real time, a program that constantly preserves the atmosphere of the milonga where emotion and passion, whether it is tango, waltz or milonga, are always present. My program also aims to give the milonga a color that is both festive and intimate for the pleasure of the tangueras and tangueros who trust me.
