A Sunday at Mas Tolosa, for a relaxing end to the festival! Let's make the most of this last day and this superb estate with:
• its large traditional tango hall equipped with a parquet floor, featuring the Apolo Tango orchestra and the Tangueando Toulouse orchestra performing live
• its small traditional tango room, for relaxed tangos to the same music
• The neo-room, its parquet floor and its team of international DJs!
And of course, let's not forget its large outdoor area with deckchairs on the lawn, food trucks and stalls!
Under the direction of bandoneon player Hubert Plessis, the Tangueando training orchestra was founded in September 2022 by a shared desire to revive this beautiful musical tradition in Toulouse. It quickly brought together a small group of passionate amateur musicians who invite us to dance to live music and rediscover the feeling of traditional Argentinian dances!
Apolo Tango, formed in 2025 by six musicians as passionate as they are experienced, invites you to rediscover the iconic tangos of the 30s to 70s through the charm and elegance of the original arrangements, brought up to date thanks to the energy of a live sound.
For many years, its musicians have honed their skills in various groups (Hyperion Ensemble, Tango Club, Roulotte Tango, Orquesta Sans Souci…) but also with several maestros such as A. Marcucci, JJ Mosalini, R. Gallo, S. Prusak, F. Maguna, finally coming together around a common desire: to offer a program that is as enriching to dance as it is to listen to, through the great compositions that have made the history of tango and through which dancers and musicians are delicately highlighted.
