Sebastián de la Vallina

Sebastián de la Vallina

A musician and dancer, Sebastián began teaching in Rosario (Argentina), his hometown, in 2007. In 2017, he moved to Rome.

His style and method strike a rare balance between a deep grounding in tradition and an avant-garde approach.

As he partners with Sara for this edition you will no doubt have the opportunity to enjoy the chemistry that emanates from their couple.

Sara D’Ajello Caracciolo

Sara D'Ajello Caracciolo

Sara is a dancer, international tango teacher, DJ, artistic director of the Porto Petraio Cultural Space in Naples and co-director of the TangoNeta festival!

She founded the "Sulle rive del Tango" project in 2003 and has since then been pursuing research across Europe on an alternative tango in musical terms, but also to develop a better understanding of the dance itself.

Her tango is characterized by a physical and emotional depth, where dance becomes an exploration of self. Her work focuses on a deep connection to one’s own body and with others dance partners, space and music, a balanced dialogue between the tango roles, the search for inspiration for movement, and the transmission of technical and poetic tools to create a dynamic dance.
